Panathinaikos deny that they have agreed or talked with Barcelona, in response to a french website that claims that the two sides have agreed about Hleb's transfer. Despite their denial, the greens have indeed talked with Barca, and they have received a positive response. Hleb is waiting for an offer from a stronger league though.

Meanwhile, Panathinaikos have been preparing for their match against Standar for Europa League. Vyntra will play in the right side of defense instead of Marinos, and Darlas is likely to replace the tired Spyropoulos. Sariegi and Kante will play as stoppers, Simao will play in the midfield instead of banned Katsouranis, having Karagounis and Silva in front of him. Leto will play in the left wing, and Rukavina who is in good form, will probably replace the tired Salpigidis in the right wing. Cisse will be the team's striker.
